How Egg mis-sold PPI to its customers

In 2008, Egg was fined £721,000 by the FSA when it was found to be mis-selling PPI to its customers in a number of unethical ways.

An investigation found that Egg PPI was mis-sold along with credit cards in around 40% of all cases, leading to Egg Banking, like many lenders, being fined for the way it had conducted itself.
